I’m still alive
By: Chris Paraskevas | September 9th, 2008Yes, it’s official, I am still alive.
For those of you out there in the blogosphere wondering where I’ve been for the past few days, the answer is, sitting in front of my computer screen each and every day without fail, trying to think up witty and insightful entries to appease all of you loyal followers of the AEK Blog @ The Offside. Honest…
In reality, it’s been a slow week on the Dikefalo front. A couple of sensible friendlies have been organized ahead of the massive clash with PAOK on the weekend as Donis’ troops still go through the no-doubt painful process of adapting to his playing system and philosophy.
Djebbour scored on his debut, a few days after the club announced plans for the construction of a new training/sports facility. Exciting stuff (Honest…no really, if it goes ahead, it’s a pretty big deal)
Anyway, I’m off for a while again, following the progress of the Ethinki and what-not. Incidentally, Pliatsikas didn’t even get a position on the bench (or so I recall) against Luxembourg.
Until next time…

Hey Chris,
How is Juanfran doing over there. He really is a great player. Especially back in the day with Celta Vigo.

Hi Javi,
He’s started fairly well for AEK, unspectacular but solid, which is basically what is needed in what has been a troublesome left-back slot for a while now.
AEK fans would love to see him get forward a little bit more but he’s defensively sound for the moment.
